This policy applies to all LuiGO users, including Riders and Drivers (including Driver applicants), and to all LuiGO platforms and services, including our apps, websites, features, and other services (collectively, the “LuiGO Platform”). Please remember that your use of the LuiGO Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.

The Information We Collect

When you use the LuiGO Platform, we collect the information you provide, usage information, and information about your device. We also collect information about you from other sources, such as third-party services and optional programs in which you participate, which we may combine with other information we have about you. Below are the types of information we collect:

A. Information You Provide to Us

  1. Account Registration: When you create an account with LuiGO, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, birth date, and payment information. You may also choose to share additional info for your Rider profile, such as a profile picture, saved addresses, or preferences.

  2. Driver Information: If you apply to be a Driver, we collect the information in your application, including your name, email address, phone number, birth date, physical address, government identification number, driver’s license, vehicle details, and car insurance information. We also collect your bank details for payments and tax purposes. Additional documentation may be requested based on your location and to verify your identity.

  3. SOS Contact Information: We collect permissions to access your contact list to add SOS contacts within the LuiGO app.

  4. Ratings and Feedback: When you provide feedback or rate Riders or Drivers, we collect the information included in your responses.

  5. Communications: When you contact us or respond to communications, we collect the contents of your messages or attachments.

B. Information We Collect When You Use the LuiGO Platform

  1. Location Information:

    • Riders: We collect your device’s precise location from the time you open the LuiGO app to the end of your ride, including while the app runs in the background.
    • Drivers: We collect your location while the app is in Driver mode and briefly after exiting it to monitor ride-related incidents.

  2. Usage Information: Details like ride times, destinations, payment data, and promotions used are collected, along with interactions such as pages viewed within the platform.

  3. Device Information: We gather details about the devices you use, including model, browser type, operating system, and app preferences.

  4. Communications Between Riders and Drivers: We partner with third parties to enable calls and SMS messaging between Riders and Drivers while masking phone numbers. We collect information like the participants, dates, and message contents for these communications.

  5. Address Book Contacts: If you grant permission, LuiGO can access your contacts to facilitate referrals.

  6. Cookies and Analytics: Cookies, SDKs, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) are used to analyze how users interact with the LuiGO Platform, improve experiences, and deliver personalized ads.

C. Information We Collect from Third Parties

  1. Third-Party Services: These include background check providers, insurance partners, and marketing services. Examples of data collected include:
    • Safety-related details like background check results.
    • Transaction and fraud prevention data.
    • Participation details in third-party loyalty programs.
  2. Enterprise Programs: Organizations participating in LuiGO enterprise programs may share your details if using LuiGO through them.
  3. Concierge Services: Businesses ordering rides for you through LuiGO may share your contact and trip details.
  4. Referral Programs: Referrals may include sharing your name and contact information with the referrer.

How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used to:

  1. Provide the LuiGO Platform’s features and services.
  2. Maintain platform safety and security.
  3. Build and enhance the LuiGO community.

  1. Between Riders and Drivers: To coordinate rides, we share essential details such as names, locations, and profiles between users.

Your Rights and Choices

Children’s Data

LuiGO does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 13. If such data is identified, we will take steps to delete it.
